COVID-19 Updates
Amidst a precarious time for vacationers, Rhode Island has managed to test nearly 20% of our population for COVID-19, far more people per capita than any other state, and 3 times more than the national average.
As a part of Rhode Island’s Phase III to reopen our economy, guidance for travelers has been updated. If you are coming from a state with a high community spread rate, you will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days while in Rhode Island, or produce a negative test for COVID-19 that was taken within 72 hours prior to your arrival.
Important note to our guests:
If you receive a negative test result after arriving in Rhode Island, you can stop quarantining. Testing is now available for out-of-state residents. Visit health.ri.gov/covid/testing to learn more, or call the COVID-19 Hotline at 401-222-8022 Monday thru Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm or 2-1-1 on weekends and after hours.
